My Vision
Creating.
I have always enjoyed the challenge of creating something new, from breaking a project down into tasks, to bringing the parts together to completion, with the most interesting part being when I get to see the impact a completed project has on others. Currently, I am fortunate to be able to develop creative projects while pursuing degrees in photography and media arts, and I am very excited that I will soon be able to create for a living, while developing a new career.
Learning.
While pursuing a degree in media arts at Santa Fe Community College, I am gaining skills in web design (including HTML5, CSS3, and CMS systems), graphic design, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator, AfterEffects, InDesign), and Cinema 4D. My studies in photography have taught me a variety of genres, including landscape, architecture, travel, content photography, long exposures, alternative processes and film photography. I love being able to combine these disciplines and see what new avenues materialize, leading to further exploration...
Exploring.
I am very passionate about exploring as many parts of the world as possible, be it my neighborhood, or by using my passport to visit a new place. By reinventing myself through further education, I have been able to explore the world around me in a variety of new ways, by developing composition, technological skills, and storytelling. I have found that by investigating so many different avenues, I am very prepared to head towards new career goals I would not have previously even considered.
